Growing up, I didn't see people who looked like me exploring the world and having incredible experiences; they weren't in travel brochures or on TV.
40+ years later, that hasn't changed much.
I have dedicated my career to the travel industry, which has rewarded me tenfold. I have visited over 90 countries and had the most incredible experiences (I watched ballet on a floating stage underground at the Hermitage - yes, Catherine the Great's palace!)
I aim to see people of all ethnicities, ages, backgrounds, and sizes traveling more and further.
I want them to appear in travel brochures and on travel brand websites (because they are out there doing it), and I want to see people who look like me producing and hosting incredible travel television.
The world is much better when we try to explore and learn about it.

Experience is everything
I started in the travel industry in 1998 - over 25 years in the travel industry. That's PRO level right there.
My first job was as a travel consultant for STA Travel. I went on to work in various roles in their London headquarters.
I worked in the cruise line industry for 12 years (onboard and in the office). I worked with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Celebrity, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Holland America. I lost count at over 600 cruises!
I worked my way up to the VP level for some of the biggest travel companies in the world.
I was a global brand ambassador for the biggest luggage retailer in the world, providing me with a solid knowledge bank in all things airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and hotels/resorts.
The infamous Anthony Bourdain mentored me. I would not be on television if it weren't for his encouragement and belief in me.
My favorite role in the travel industry was as a senior fleet marketing and revenue manager for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. I traveled the world and became the Olivia Pope of onboard revenue, always figuring out the next move.
My first travel segment was an unplanned cameo in a Travel Channel special about cruising in the Mediterranean.
I have appeared on national and top market news, morning shows, and talk shows over 100 times since 2018. My first travel segment was on the Emmy-award-winning DailyMailTV.
My favorite television segments are the ones in the studio. I love working with anchors, hosts, and the behind-the-scenes team. I also LOVE live TV.
